Who You Will Be Supporting
Our services support adults with diverse needs, including:
Learning disabilities and autism
Physical disabilities and sensory impairments
Mental health conditions
Age-related needs and dementia
Key Responsibilities
No two days are the same, but your core role will involve:
Daily Living Support: Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks, budgeting, and shopping.
Personal Care: Providing respectful support with personal hygiene, dressing, and medication management (where required).
Community Inclusion: Helping individuals access local activities, hobbies, social clubs, and appointments.
Person-Centred Care: Following individual support plans to ensure outcomes, choices, and rights are promoted.
What We Are Looking For
Values First: A caring, empathetic nature with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-overs/waking nights.
SSSC Registration: You must be registered, or eligible to register, with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting.
Mobility: A full UK driving licence is beneficial for many of our roles, though not always essential.
Requirement: All successful candidates will be required to undergo a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme check through Disclosure Scotland before commencing employment.
