Key Responsibilities
- Holistic Care: Provide high-quality care, empathy, and daily support to vulnerable children and young people.
- Behavioral Support: Positively manage emotional, learning, and behavioral difficulties, as well as challenging behaviors, with understanding and patience.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety, well-being, and protection of all children under your care at all times.
- Collaboration: Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver consistent, high-standard care.
- Communication: Maintain clear, effective, and open written and verbal communication with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of paid childcare experience within the UK.
- Specialist Knowledge: Proven experience working with children and young people who exhibit emotional, behavioral, or learning difficulties.
- Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service and the legal Right to Work in the UK.
- Mobility: A full, valid UK Driving License.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, resilience, and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced setting.
