What You Need to Bring
To be successful in this specialist role, you must meet the following criteria:
Sector Experience: Proven experience supporting children and young people specifically within a residential care setting.
Behavioral Expertise: Confidence in utilizing de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors calmly and professionally.
Flexibility: Adaptability to work across varied residential and community settings throughout the Portsmouth and Southampton areas.
Key Skills: Strong understanding of safeguarding policies, excellent observational skills, and the ability to provide accurate written reporting while on shift.
Driving: A full UK driver's license (with business insurance) is highly desirable.
