Key Responsibilities

• Holistic Care: Provide high-quality care, empathy, and daily support to vulnerable children and young people.
• Behavioural Support: Positively manage emotional, learning, and behavioural difficulties with understanding, patience, and care.
• Safeguarding: Ensure the safety, well-being, and protection of all children under your care at all times.
• Collaboration: Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver consistent, high-standard care.
• Communication: Maintain clear, effective, and open written and verbal communication with colleagues, families, and external stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of paid childcare experience within the UK.
• Specialist Knowledge: Proven experience working with children and young people who exhibit emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties.
• Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service and the legal Right to Work in the UK.
• Mobility: A full, valid UK Driving Licence.
• Skills: Excellent communication, strong resilience, and the ability to adapt quickly.
