Salary: £32,916 - £45,352 (M1 - M6 Pay Scale)
Status: Full-Time, Permanent (Term Time Only)
Location: Mansfield
Why Make the Switch? If you love teaching but are feeling burnt out by 30+ student classrooms, rigid data-drilling, and one-size-fits-all behaviour policies, it's time for a change. We are looking for a qualified teacher to join our Mansfield team, focusing on small-group, impactful teaching for KS3 and KS4 students with ASC and SEMH needs.
Here, we trade the stress of the mainstream conveyor belt for small class sizes, genuine student connections, and a manageable workload.
The Benefits of This Role:
Manageable Workload: Trade a crowded classroom for small-group sessions where you can actually focus on teaching, not crowd control.
True Job Satisfaction: Work with students aged 7 to 19 who need your expertise the most, helping them build life skills alongside academic progress.
Collaborative Environment: You aren't stranded on an island. You will work hand-in-hand with a dedicated, fully-staffed support team.
Full Term-Time Perks: Enjoy a competitive M1-M6 salary while maintaining a true term-time-only schedule.
What You'll Do:
Deliver a flexible, accessible curriculum tailored to small groups.
Utilise EHCPs to design bespoke, stress-free learning pathways.
Collaborate on curriculum innovation and track student progress without the mainstream red tape.
Maintain high safeguarding standards to ensure a safe, supportive environment.
What We Need From You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A Level 6 qualification in a relevant field.
Strong communication skills and the resilience to support students who have struggled in traditional settings.
Note: Prior SEN experience is highly valued, but a deep passion and the right attitude are just as important! Mainstream teachers looking to transition are highly encouraged to apply.
