Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists.
Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup.
Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards.
Provide assistance with lesson plans.
Support children across the curriculum.
Give extra support to children with special needs.
Help mark work.
Report student progress.
Help look after the children during school trips and activities.
Look after children that are unwell.
Attend meetings.
Essential requirements:
Experience working with young people.
Class management skills.
Comfort managing challenging behaviour.
Able to engage with and motivate children.
TA Qualified (Level 2 or 3).
