The school in question is a specialist education setting supporting approx. 100+ pupils and is highly regarded in the local community due to the life changing education they offer and the supportive environment they create for every child to thrive. The school is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant (SEN) to join their secondary team. This role is needed on a full time basis, term time only (8:30-4:30). Candidates must have experience and confidence supporting SEN learners on a 1:1 and small group basis. This position is required to start in September and is a permanent opportunity. This role will mean working 80% of the time 1:1 with young learners with SEN and the remaining time will be spent working with small groups. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a broad and balanced curriculum that meets every pupil's individual needs.
