Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for inclusive education? We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistants to provide specialist support within primary school settings. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development while working within a professional and supportive educational framework.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored, proactive support to students to ensure continuous academic and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom activities, adapting pedagogical approaches to accommodate individual learning styles and requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and support teams to maintain a cohesive learning environment.
- Build professional, trusting relationships with students to foster a conducive atmosphere for growth.
- Support learners with specific needs, including ADHD, Autism (ASD), and the management of challenging behaviour.
- Previous experience supporting children with additional needs, such as ADHD or Autism, within an educational, care, or youth environment is highly advantageous.
- A patient, adaptable, and professional demeanour, with a genuine commitment to primary education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a demonstrated willingness to initiate the application process.
