Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5.00pm with flexibility to meet demands with overtime paid.
There is an on-call rota after the initial 3-month training - 1 in every 5 weekends and paid even if not called!
You will be working as part of a technical team in a busy and fast paced injection moulding shop floor environment, responsiblr for 16 injection moulding machines .
Day to day you will be:
... - Carrying out mould tool changes as per daily schedule (avg 5-8 tool changes per day)
- Process and adapt conditions to produce quality approved components
- Complete settings paperwork
- Use of overhead gantry
- Use of robots to include six axis robots
- Responsible for Health and Safety procedures while setting the machines
- Ensuring and assisting in always maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Handling of heavy and expensive tooling
You will need to be:
- Competent in process knowledge
- Have a good understanding of automation and process
- Used to technical trouble shooting.
- Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role
