Trainee Teacher - Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Required Experience: Prior SEN experience required.
Required Licence: Full UK Driving Licence & Vehicle required.
About the Vacancy: Randstad Education is currently recruiting a Trainee SEN Teacher on behalf of a specialist school in Cranleigh, Surrey. The school caters to pupils with complex special educational needs, utilising Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) as its primary educational framework.
Please note: Applicants without a car or without prior SEN experience will not be shortlisted.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Instructional Delivery: Delivering academic and life-skills lessons tailored to individual student profiles.
Data Collection: Keeping accurate, real-time records of student responses and behavioural progress.
Collaboration: Working as part of a small, integrated team including behaviour analysts, therapists, and management.
Safeguarding: Upholding the highest standards of care and safeguarding for vulnerable children.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to take on feedback during intensive training.
Previous experience in a school, care, or therapeutic setting supporting autistic children.
