We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a specialist educational facility as a Trainee SEN / CABAS Teacher (also known as an SEN Teaching Assistant or SEN Behaviour Analyst).
In this role, you will work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils, designing and delivering teaching sessions that accelerate learning, improve social and emotional development, and focus on vital communication and life skills. You will be fully supported by extensive training and regular supervision from some of the UK's leading, internationally recognised behaviour analytic experts.

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group teaching and support to autistic pupils following individualised curriculums.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that focus heavily on communication, life skills, and social development.
Use behaviourally-based teaching and positive reinforcement to help pupils reach their full potential.
Assist with breaktime duties, playground support, snack times, and off-site educational trips.
Provide personal care (toileting, feeding) and support hygiene maintenance where required.
Contribute to educational research and continually progress your own professional development.
What You Need to Succeed
Experience: Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children and/or disabilities.
Education: Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
Resilience: Comfortable working with pupils with a high level of need, which can include disregulated behaviours, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including twisting, stooping, and working at a lower height.
Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
An Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential.
