What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience as a social worker, with significant experience working directly with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children or in related asylum/immigration contexts.
Current and valid Social Work England registration.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within children's social care.
A strong understanding of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice concerning UASC, including immigration, asylum, and trafficking issues.
Exceptional leadership, managerial, and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team, manage complex cases, and navigate challenging circumstances with sensitivity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds, carers, and multi-agency partners (e.g., Home Office, legal representatives).
