Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their growing team based in Galway.
Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations from receiving and storage to picking, packing, and dispatch, while maintaining high facility standards.
- Plan daily schedules, organise layout efficiency, and ensure the prompt intake of domestic and international shipments.
- Lead the logistics team and supervisors, managing shift schedules, performance, training, and cross-department collaboration.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations through regular risk assessments, machinery checks, and staff safety briefings.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, location checks, and formal stock-takes.
- Coordinate with internal and external transport teams to ensure accurate loading, efficient routing, and quick delivery issue resolution.
- Create progress reports, and identify ways to lower costs and increase output.
Requirements
- Experience managing teams in a warehouse environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
