£12.75 -£13.65 per hour

A highly regarded care organisation and specialist school local to you is looking for a empathetic, passionate and kind Youth Support worker to support children or young people with complex SEN needs on a full time permanent basis both in the residential housing on school site.
The setting is based on acres of land, offers incredible resources including a on site gym and is both a school and a residential setting. The setting support children and young adults from 6-21 years. Whatever a student's abilities or challenges, the setting aims to provide them with memorable experiences and stimulating activities that promote self-esteem and personal independence.
The school and setting are commended by parents, pupils staff and OFSTED and have recently been graded GOOD with elements of outstanding. Applicants for this role must be available for shifts including days and evenings. Due to the location own transport is advisable.
This is a full time role. Based on working 44.25 hours a week
Applicants must be available for the below shifts.
Option 1: Monday - Friday: 06.45 to 13.30 and 15.45 to 22.00 (you must be able to do a mixture of shifts)
Option 2: Monday - Sunday: 06.45 to 13.30, 15.45 to 22.00, 12.00 to 22.00 and 06.45 to 16.00 (you must be able to do a mixture of shifts)

- ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting children or young adults with SEN
- 6 months care or education experience (desirable)

- Encouraging participation in education, hobbies, recreation and community activities.
