The Role: Impact & Leadership
Expert Practice: Manage a small, highly complex caseload that requires advanced analytical skills and expert intervention.
Mentorship: Act as a "Practice Champion," providing coaching and support to Social Workers and ASYEs to help them develop their skills.
Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining high standards through case audits, peer reviews, and the implementation of innovative social work models.
Stability: Work specifically with children in care to ensure their pathway to permanence is clear, timely, and focused on their long-term well-being.
What We're Looking For
Deep Experience: Substantial post-qualifying experience within a Cared For or Looked After Children setting.
Leadership Potential: A natural ability to lead by example and inspire confidence in colleagues and partner agencies.
Academic & Professional Standing: Social Work degree, active Social Work England registration, and evidence of continued professional development.
Commitment: A passion for relational social work and the "North Tyneside Way."
