Job: Interim Asbestos Quality Manager
Location: Hybrid (Must be based near either Manchester or London for occasional office visits)
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate
Contract Length: 2 to 3 months initially, with the possibility of an extension
Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
The Role:
Are you an experienced Asbestos Quality Manager looking for a new interim contract? We are partnering with a highly respected environmental consultancy to find a dedicated professional to provide full-time contingency cover for a 3 - 6 month term.
This role offers excellent flexibility, as my client is happy for you to be based around either the Manchester or London areas. You will not be expected to be in the office five days a week, but you must be able to visit either the Manchester or London office if required for internal and external meetings. For exceptiinal candidates my client may be willing to stretch this rule.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining the company's quality systems in strict accordance with UKAS requirements.
- Demonstrating a high level of specialist technical competence to ensure continuous compliance across the business.
- Bolstering the current quality setup by providing a reliable 5-day-a-week presence for the duration of the contract.
About You:
- You must have strong, proven experience in operating quality systems in line with UKAS requirements within the asbestos industry.
- Ideally, you will hold the Certificate of Competence in Asbestos (CoCA) to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technical requirements.
- You must be available to start as soon as possible.
- You must be based within reach of either Manchester or London, and be prepared to visit the office when needed.
