Randstad is proud to partner with the Harris Federation to recruit an Assistant Apprenticeship Manager. This is a pivotal role within a leading education charity and multi-academy trust that has spent over 30 years transforming the lives of young people across London and Essex.
The Harris Federation is a "system disrupter" dedicated to closing the educational gap. As they continue to expand their apprenticeship offer, they are looking for a determined individual to help manage their programmes, levy, and digital learning systems.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis with 3 days in the office (Mon, Weds, Fri) and 2 from home (Tues,Thurs).
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the Apprenticeship Manager and act as a central figure in the Federation's vocational education strategy:
... - Programme Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for apprenticeship enquiries, training providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Levy Management: Support the management of the apprenticeship levy, including tracking costs, progress, and ensuring compliance with funding rules.
- LMS Administration: Serve as the "super administrator" for the EOSONE Learning Management System, managing user accounts, technical support tickets, and software testing.
- Data & Reporting: Analyse ILR data and performance metrics to ensure the organisation maintains a positive Quality Achievement Rate (QAR).
- Engagement & Marketing: Work with marketing teams to create promotional materials, organise events, and manage the Apprenticeship SharePoint to drive internal recruitment and upskilling.
- Compliance: Conduct internal quality assurance (IQA), prepare for DfE audits, and ensure all records meet Ofsted and safeguarding frameworks.
What We Are Looking For
We want to hear from proactive professionals who can establish themselves quickly in a large, fast-paced organisation.
- Proven project management skills with experience handling complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) within the Further Education (FE) sector.
- Technical proficiency in monthly ILR declarations and the use of MIS platforms.
- A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
- The ability to travel to various Federation Academies as required.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong experience as an assessor or IQA.
- Confidence using data analysis tools like PDSAT.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar creative editing tools.
