The Role
Are you a data storyteller who bridges the gap between complex analytics and strategic business decisions? We are seeking an experienced Business & Marketing Data Scientist to translate organizational challenges into scalable, high-impact analytical solutions.
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert-developing statistical models, optimizing data pipelines, establishing evaluation metrics, and delivering actionable insights that directly influence product retention, churn, and overall growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Insight & Modeling: Formulate and interpret complex datasets using Python, R, and SQL to drive actionable recommendations and define key business metrics (OKRs).
- Scalable Solutions: Write production-quality code, automate workflows, and build intuitive dashboards to track solution impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to translate high-level questions into tractable analyses.
- Technical Mentorship: Lead methodology design, validate assumptions in peer analyses, and document best practices, sample code, and tutorials.
- Data Stewardship: Gather, clean, and validate data across varied sources while adhering to strict privacy, confidentiality, and security standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant data science experience, with strong proficiency in Python.
- Core Competencies: Deep understanding of statistical concepts, data intuition, and problem framing.
- Visualization: Demonstrated experience building data dashboards and automated reporting tools.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional active listening and stakeholder management skills to translate data into business narratives.
