Job Title: Business Studies & Economics Teacher
Salary/Rate: £150 - £220 per day (Outer London / Fringe MPS scale)
Location: Loughton area, West Essex (Central Line Access)

Randstad Education is inviting applications from capable Business Studies & Economics Teachers for upcoming placements within a trusted partner academy in West Essex. Situated extremely close to Central Line links and offering competitive Outer London / Fringe pay scales, this position is ideal for candidates commuting from East/Central London or West Essex. We offer adaptable day-to-day cover, maternity cover, and full-time long-term teaching assignments starting this term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach across GCSE Business, BTEC Tech Awards, and A-Level Business Studies/Economics syllabi.
- Contextualise complex economic models and commercial strategies into accessible classroom lessons.
- Oversee coursework completion, conduct revision sessions, and monitor student achievement across KS4/KS5.
Candidate Requirements:
- QTS, QTLS, or a recognised secondary/FE teaching qualification.
- Up-to-date familiarity with major exam board specifications (Edexcel, AQA, Pearson BTEC).
- Excellent interpersonal, delivery, and behavior management skills.
