The Details
Pay Rate: £37.50 per hour (Umbrella). Potentially up to £39ph (experience dependent).
Locations: Croydon or Grays (Essex).
Working Style: Hybrid. Manage your own diary with the flexibility to work from home between visits and hearings.
Commute: Non-drivers welcome! Given the London/Greater London locations, these roles are accessible via public transport.
The Role
You will be focused on Private Law proceedings, specifically:
Managing a consistent caseload of 7 x Section 7 reports per month.
Providing high-quality assessments to the court regarding child arrangements.
Conducting safeguarding checks and advising on the best interests of the child.
Requirements
Social Work England Registration.
Essential: Recent experience writing Section 7 reports.
Alternative: Candidates from Child Protection (S47) or Child in Need (S17) backgrounds with significant experience writing court reports and attending hearings will be considered.
Ability to work autonomously and meet strict court deadlines.
