The Work You'll Do
As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will manage a varied frontline caseload, ensuring that children and young people are safe, stable, and heard:
Robust Interventions: Co-produce, implement, and monitor comprehensive Child Protection and Child in Need plans.
Section 47 Inquiries: Lead on complex statutory assessments and joint investigations with multi-agency partners to mitigate immediate risk.
Legal Proceedings: Confidently handle Public Law Outline (PLO) processes, prepare legal statements, and represent the authority within court proceedings.
Voice of the Child: Keep the young person's wishes, feelings, and cultural identity at the absolute center of every decision you make.

What You'll Need to Apply
A recognized Social Work qualification and an active registration with Social Work England.
Demonscribable post-qualifying experience within a statutory statutory Children's Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Court team.
Strong analytical writing skills and the ability to manage tight statutory deadlines under pressure.
A full UK driving license with access to a vehicle for community-based visits.
