Core Responsibilities
- Outcome-Focused Case Management: Hold responsibility for a caseload of children and families subject to Child in Need plans and family support interventions.
- Child & Family Assessments: Complete detailed Care Act / statutory single assessments that capture the voice of the child and identify key family strengths and needs.
- Multi-Agency Coordination: Chair CIN planning meetings and collaborate effectively with education, health, and voluntary sector partners to deliver wrap-around support.
- Promoting Permanence & Safety: Implement early help strategies and preventive interventions to support children staying safely within their family networks.
Candidate Requirements
- Professional Registration: Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England (SWE) registration.
- Statutory Experience: Demonstrable post-ASYE experience within statutory Children's Services (specifically CIN, Safeguarding, or Family Support teams).
- Core Skills: Strong analytical report-writing, excellent relationship-building abilities, and sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989.
- Mobility: Full UK driving licence with access to a car for visits across Doncaster.
