- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and senior operational staff, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workforce development.
- Manage project financial performance, reviewing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), risk registers, and commercial forecasts monthly.
- Drive health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance, conducting Senior Management Inspections (SMIs) across active sites.
- Chair key client progress meetings, manage third-party stakeholders, and oversee pre-commencement and tender handover processes.
About You
You are an accomplished Contracts Manager or Operations Leader with extensive experience managing multi-site civil engineering schemes within regulated water environments. Your strategic operational oversight is backed by strong commercial acumen under NEC contract mechanisms.
- Hold an HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering alongside active SMSTS and CSCS credentials.
- Demonstrate extensive experience managing civil engineering and water infrastructure projects across multi-site frameworks.
- Possess deep working knowledge of NEC contracts (Early Warnings, Compensation Events), CDM regulations, and design management.
- Show strong capability in construction programming (MS Project, P6) and tender pre-qualification processes.
