Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic Tax Team. This role focuses primarily on corporation tax and ensuring compliance for the Group within Ireland and across our various international jurisdictions. You will be responsible for managing corporate tax compliance, strategic planning, and risk management activities, ensuring full alignment with both domestic and international tax legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Reporting: Review corporation tax calculations and returns for all Group entities, including managing upcoming Pillar II requirements.
Payment Management: Ensure all preliminary corporation tax payments and outstanding tax balances are processed accurately and on time across all Group entities.
Transfer Pricing: Provide key assistance with transfer pricing policies and inter-company pricing arrangements.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact and build strong relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, Irish Revenue, HMRC, and other international tax authorities or regulatory bodies.
Planning & Budgeting: Control, support, and assist with corporate tax planning and group budgeting initiatives.
M&A Support: Provide vital tax support, research, and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with project managers, legal, and operations teams to advise on the tax implications of large-scale contracts and international operations.
Legislative Monitoring: Track changes in global and domestic tax legislation, proactively assessing and communicating the impact on the Group.
Risk & Controls: Ensure the effectiveness, accuracy, and implementation of the Group's Internal Control and Risk Management Policy.
Process Improvement: Continuously streamline and optimize internal tax processes, controls, and workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
Professional Credentials: A qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) combined with a recognized accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA).
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Core Competencies: Strong interpretive, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Process Optimization: A proven ability to standardize processes and proactively suggest operational improvements.
