- Courtroom Representation: Attend family court hearings to present recommendations clearly and provide expert advice to magistrates and judges.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential safeguarding concerns, evaluate parenting capacity, and advise on safe, long-term outcomes for vulnerable children.
Essential Requirements
- Professional Body: Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration.
- Background Experience: Substantive post-qualifying experience in statutory Children's Social Care (e.g., Child Protection, Court, Looked After Children, or CAFCASS).
- Legal Proficiency: Proven track record in authoring statutory court reports and navigating family law frameworks.
