One School. Every Stage. Endless Impact.
Are you a versatile educator who thrives on variety? We are looking for Generalist SEN Teachers to join a pioneering team for a brand-new school opening in late 2026.
Our school is unique because we support students on their entire journey, from their first steps in Primary (age 5) through to their transition into adulthood at Secondary and Post-16 (age 19). We are looking for teachers who can adapt their craft to meet students exactly where they are-regardless of their "key stage."
The Role: A True Generalist Challenge
Whether your heart is in early literacy or secondary transition, this role offers the chance to work across a diverse, thematic curriculum. You won't just be teaching a subject; you'll be teaching the child.
Adaptive Teaching: Deliver lessons that bridge the gap between primary nurturing and secondary independence.
Specialist Support: Work with a 72-student cohort, focusing on SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and ASC.
Holistic Growth: Lead a classroom team to ensure that every student's EHCP targets are met through creative, hands-on learning.
Curriculum Ownership: Help shape an "all-through" curriculum that provides a seamless journey for our most vulnerable learners.
What We Are Looking For
We need "all-rounders"-teachers who are as comfortable with phonics and sensory play as they are with life skills and functional skills.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential (Primary or Secondary trained).
SEN Expertise: A deep understanding of SEMH needs and how they present at different ages.
Thematic Flair: Experience in planning cross-curricular topics that engage students with diverse learning styles.
Relationship Builders: A "nurture-first" approach with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and high expectations.
Why Join a Founding Team?
Joining a school at the pre-opening stage allows you to influence the environment, the culture, and the community from day one. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team where your voice is heard and your impact on the students is visible every single day.
