You will join an experienced, collaborative team of linguists in a well-funded department loaded with fantastic resources.
What the Role Involves:
Inspiring Confidence: Teaching high-energy, engaging German lessons to pupils in Years 7 to 11.
GCSE Preparation: Preparing Year 11 classes for their examinations using targeted support and innovative, confidence-building techniques.
Cultural Immersion: Creating an inclusive classroom environment where students feel enthusiastic and safe speaking a new language.
Collaboration: Working alongside the MFL team on fresh ideas, cultural events, and curriculum planning-no reinventing the wheel alone.
The Ideal Candidate:
The Specialist: Holds a degree in German (or equivalent) with near-native fluency.
The Professional: Possesses UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
The Expert: Has a proven track record of delivering the UK German curriculum effectively up to KS4.
The Logistics: Must already hold the permanent right to work in the UK. (Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position).
