About the Role & Service:

In this role, you will lead end-to-end commissioning projects, build market intelligence, and manage contracts to ensure services are responsive, cost-effective, and aligned with strategic priorities. You will bring a whole-system perspective to complex needs, working collaboratively across internal teams, external providers, health partners, and local service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Commissioning: Lead high-profile commissioning activity across the full commissioning cycle to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services.
- Complex Needs & Systems: Commission services for complex needs and vulnerable groups, embedding co-production and person-centred approaches.
- Contract & Market Oversight: Manage provider contracts, monitor performance, gather market intelligence, and drive continuous service development.
- Partnership Working: Build strong working relationships across multi-agency systems, health sectors, and local communities.
What We Are Looking For:
- Commissioning Expertise: Deep, practical understanding of the full public sector commissioning cycle and contract management.
- Complex Needs Experience: Proven ability to work confidently with complex needs and vulnerable client groups.
- Analytical & Strategic Skills: Creative, analytical mindset with the ability to turn market intelligence into actionable service improvements.
- Checks: Enhanced DBS check required.
