Responsibilities- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group lessons, adapting your approach to meet individual student requirements.
- Promote independence and dignity while assisting with daily routines and personal care.
- Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and support staff.
- Mentor junior colleagues and maintain clear communication with parents regarding student development.
- Organise educational trips, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to lead teachers.
- Literacy and numeracy Level 2 (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a classroom with young people with complex disabilities, challenging behavior, or support worker roles.
- Sensitivity to student needs, flexibility in the face of challenges, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity.
- Must possess the permanent right to work in the UK; the successful candidate will undergo a full enhanced DBS check. Candidates reliant on restricted VISAs or sponsorship will not be considered.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service update or willingness to undergo these checks.
