Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in both Psychology and Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5 (GCSE and A-Level).
Foster an inclusive, high-achieving classroom environment where every student feels challenged and supported.
Track student progress effectively, using data to inform your teaching and intervene where necessary.
Contribute to the wider life of the department, including curriculum planning and extra-curricular initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
Our Ideal Candidate: You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized qualification, backed by a strong degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related social science field. You possess deep subject knowledge and a genuine passion for staying up-to-date with current research.
Your Skills and Approach: You bring excellent classroom management and communication skills to the table. You have a proven track record of raising student achievement and have experience teaching both subjects up to A-Level. Above all, you possess a collaborative spirit, innovative ideas for digital learning, and a great sense of humor.
