Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council is expanding its Neighbourhood Social Work Services, and we are looking for 14 experienced Social Workers to join our dedicated Safeguarding Service.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing complex safeguarding cases and child protection planning.
- Leading on both public and private law court proceedings.
- Working collaboratively with families using compassionate, relational, and strengths-based approaches.
- Advocating for children's rights, safety, and well-being every step of the way.

About You
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and resilient practitioners who can hit the ground running.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in children's social work.
- Court Work & Child Protection: Proven experience in public/private law proceedings and child protection planning.
- Practice Ethos: A restorative, relational mindset with a passion for achieving tangible, positive outcomes for children and families.
- Registration: Active registration with Social Work England.
