- Preboarding plots ready for plasterers-measuring, cutting, and fixing standard, acoustic, and moisture-resistant boards.
- Boarding around window reveals, soil pipes, structural steelwork, and service penetrations.
- Working cleanly and efficiently to plot release schedules, ensuring fixings, joints, and lines meet NHBC / housing developer tolerances.
- Ensuring work areas are left safe, clean, and organised upon handover to finishing trades.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Proven experience in preboarding, drylining, or tacking on new build housing sites.
- Own hand and power tools (screw gun, board lifter/prop, tape measure, rasp/knife) and full 5-point PPE.
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and ability to work at pace to hit plot deadlines.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures on active plots.
- Based in or easily commutable to Middlesbrough (Teesside, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar area).
