We are recruiting energetic Primary Teaching Assistants to support staff and inspire pupils across Crawly. From child-led play in Early Years (EYFS) to foundation skills in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and SATs prep in Key Stage 2 (KS2), we match you with primary settings that fit your schedule and goals.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with primary class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and keep pupils on task.
- Running targeted reading, phonics, and numeracy booster sessions with individuals or small groups.
- Delivering dedicated 1:1 assistance to children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs).
- Fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported.
- Assisting with lesson prep, creative displays, and break-time monitoring.
Who We're Looking For:
- Relevant experience supporting children or young people (in schools, nurseries, youth clubs, coaching, or care).
- A positive, adaptable mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
- Good proficiency in core Primary English and Maths.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or readiness to complete one).
- Right to work in the UK and reliable access to schools throughout Crawly.
