On behalf of our prestigious partner school, we are seeking to appoint a distinguished Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS mandatory) for a long-term, full-time position commencing in September 2026. This vacancy represents an outstanding opportunity for an educator with a proven track record of excellence across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. Key Responsibilities
- High-Calibre Lesson Delivery: Design, prepare, and execute intellectually stimulating lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, precisely adapting methodologies to stretch and support the diverse learning profiles within the classroom.
- Instructional Team Leadership: Strategically manage and deploy classroom Teaching Assistants to optimise student outcomes, ensuring that pupils requiring Special Educational Needs (SEN) support or English as an Additional Language (EAL) guidance receive highly effective provisions.
- Optimal Learning Environment: Establish and maintain an orderly, warm, and highly focused classroom culture rooted in positive reinforcement, high behavioural expectations, and emotional safety.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain professional, transparent, and proactive communication with parents, carers, and senior leadership regarding academic benchmarks and pupil well-being.
- Whole-School Contribution: Participate actively in phase planning, curriculum standardisation, staff briefings, and broader school community initiatives.
Profile Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory. A documented history of successful classroom teaching within the UK primary education sector. Applications from both experienced generalists and exceptional Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will be evaluated.
- Pedagogical Command: A deep, contemporary understanding of primary school frameworks, age-appropriate assessment metrics, and evidence-based literacy, phonics, and numeracy strategies.
- Advanced Behavioural Management: The ability to establish robust classroom routines, capture pupil engagement, and maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect from the outset.
- Professional Commitment: The reliability to commit to a full-time, Monday-to-Friday schedule starting in September 2026 for the duration of the academic year.
- Compliance Standards: A current Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new application through Randstad).
