Key Focus Areas & Core Responsibilities
- Rigorous Curriculum Delivery: Author and implement sophisticated, intellectually demanding lessons that challenge students to exceed national expectations, bridging the core subjects with broader conceptual themes.
- Leadership of Classroom Support Personnel: Oversee the tactical integration of classroom assistants to maximise targeted interventions, guaranteeing that pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND) or high-potential profiles receive superb instructional guidance.
- Upholding an Orderly Learning Ethos: Cultivate a classroom atmosphere characterised by exceptional manners, a robust work ethic, and a deep respect for learning, rooted in the school's positive behaviour architecture.
- Proactive Parental Alliance: Serve as a collaborative point of contact for families, delivering insightful, professional updates regarding academic progression, character development, and general student welfare.
- Institutional Collaboration: Contribute to department-wide research-led planning, standardisation panels, inset training programmes, and whole-school enrichment modules.
Candidate Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory. A verified portfolio of impactful teaching within a UK primary school setting. Applications from both proven educational leaders and highly driven Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcomed.
- Pedagogical Sophistication: An extensive, modern grasp of cognitive science in education, child-led exploration models, and advanced literacy and mathematical mastery frameworks.
- Polished Classroom Directorship: The capability to inspire pupil dedication, implement efficient operational routines, and project a warm, commanding authority from the outset.
- Long-Term Professional Availability: Total commitment to a full-time, 5-day-a-week teaching timetable across the entire 2026/2027 academic year.
