About the Role
Randstad Education is currently recruiting for an urgent, immediate start Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) to join a dynamic secondary school in Chelmsford.
We are seeking a dedicated Maths specialist who can hit the ground running, deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and help maintain high standards of academic achievement across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons to pupils across KS3 and KS4.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, tailoring teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and foster a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate effectively with department colleagues and school leadership to drive student attainment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Strong secondary Maths curriculum knowledge and proven classroom teaching experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
