Registered Manager - Fostering Service
We are currently seeking a highly professional and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our fostering agency. In this pivotal role, you will hold operational and strategic accountability for the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care. You will uphold our commitment to safeguarding and regulatory excellence, working in partnership with local authorities to achieve optimal outcomes for children and young people.
Responsibilities
- Lead the agency in meeting all regulatory requirements, including the preparation for and management of Ofsted inspections.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment, assessment, and retention of a diverse range of high-quality foster carers.
- Manage agency operations, including compliance, resource allocation, and the consistent implementation of safeguarding policies.
- Provide professional supervision, appraisal, and leadership to the staff team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
- Act as the Panel Advisor and maintain robust quality assurance across all fostering assessments and matching processes.
- Participate in the out-of-hours support rota to ensure continuous service coverage.
Qualifications
- Professional Social Work qualification (MA, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a manager within the fostering, adoption, or family and friends sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of child development, attachment, therapeutic parenting, and relevant fostering legislation.
- Proven ability to manage staff, oversee complex safeguarding matters, and produce high-quality analytical reports.
- Full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.

- Salary - up to £57,000 per annum depending on experience
