Job DescriptionAssist in the production of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet for two contracting companiesMonitoring the companies' sales and purchase ledgers to ensure costs are coded correctlyAssist with the collation of intercompany accruals and prepaymentsAssist with invoicing monthly contract recharges and other recharges to internal companiesProcessing group wide expense claimsPerforming bank reconciliations on a regular basis Help manage the monthly financial close processAssist with monthly management packs, internal KPI's and MI Liaising with quantity surveyors and operational teams Assist with year-end audit pack and resolving any audit queries Ad-hoc tasks/projectsSkillsInterest in finance/accounting and pursuing an accounting qualificationStrong communicator and team player Ability to challenge the 'status quo' Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills To become a recognised user within finance of the COINS accounting system - a successful candidate must be able to get to grips with the COINS accounting system quickly A self-starter who is able to manage and prioritise deadlines as well as manage expectations upwardsRandstad Financial & Professional encourage applications from individuals of all ages & backgrounds.
