A number of attractive opportunities exist for those interested in payroll administrator jobs. The duties of those in the payroll department are varied. They include such tasks as inputting variable data, such as overtime and commissions; processing third party payments to unions, clubs, pensions, and others; processing expense forms; and processing new hires, staff changes and leave in a timely manner. Experience with a standard payroll system, such as SAP, is required for many positions. Successful candidates will be highly organised, excellent communicators, extremely computer literate, efficient, and good with numbers.
