The role will be working within a large team on a major project to underdate permanent designs and temporary works designs. This relates to all aspects of this contract which is to install high voltage cables along the lincolnshire coast, from civils and piling to access roads and similar. The ideal candidate will have:Strong and demonstratable experience in similar role/rolesExtensive experience in civil engineeringHistory of working in design for tier 1 contractorsA can do attitude enabling them to get around difficult situationsKey Responsibilities:To assess and undertake permanent design and temporary works design requirements on the project. Including:* Reinforced concrete design and detailing* Construction site layouts and CDM implementation* Excavation support for cable trenches* Formwork and setting templates for reinforced concrete foundations* Piling and Crane Platforms* Access roads design and traffic management plans* Temporary and Permanent bridges* Ground investigation planning and oversight* Oversight of Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) bores.This role is for 6 months to start with but could go on long long term or permanent for the right candidate.
