Covid Mobile Testing Unit Operative - IpswichLocation: Ipswich and surrounding areasSalary: £10.65 per hourShift Times: 0800 - 1600 (this includes time to travel to the site each day)8 Hour shifts - 4 days on 4 days off My client is seeking reliable workers for a busy and varied position to assist with running the Mobile Test Centre Units. Please note DBS is required, but Randstad can help obtain one for suitable applicants.This is an interesting role as it involves working with the mobile units who travel to various locations surrounding Ipswich, within 1 hour from central Ipswich and the location can differ from day to day, depending on the need. The role is outlined below, and the pay is £10.65/hour for an 8 hour shift (with paid breaks), on a 4 days on, 4 days off basis. This role involves driving to the mobile test site location daily, so you will need a full clean driving license and your own vehicle. The mobile operative may perform some or all of the responsibilities below depending on the size of the team and number of people being tested. Flexibility to work as a part of a team to support all duties is important.Responsibilities: Setting up the mobile testing unit at the required site location (varies day to day) and closing it up at the at the end of shift - Engaging with the customers to ensure their testing experience is a safe and positive experience.- Responsible for encouraging the testing of customers, reassuring them and answering questions and concerns- Collection of completed test kits- Providing verbal guidance and support on the testing process - Educating and advising customers on the benefits and reasons for testing as appropriate. - Managing safe social distancing of the mobile test site through and supporting customers through registration - Ensure the testing unit remains clean and safe to a very high standard.- Collecting and analysis of completed test samples (customer administered) and recording of results.
