      Reporting to the Fatigue System Supervisor, the Fatigue Safety Investigator is responsible for assisting in the day to day management of the Fatigue Management System (FMS), applying CAA/EASA FTL and Fatigue Management best practice principles to the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS).Through the analysis of Fatigue Safety Reports and the assessment of incidents and near misses, you will support the collation of information to identify trends used by management for strategic decision making in the Fatigue Safety Action Group (FSAG). You will promote the Just Culture and the anonymous, confidential reporting facility, in accordance with Company’s Safety Management System.The successful candidate will have previously operated as crew or worked in rostering / crewing, and therefore have a good understanding of operating a flying roster and a strong knowledge of the aviation industry. You should have a logical and analytical approach to problem solving, be approachable and empathetic whilst offering a high level of discretion. The ability to communicate empathically and effectively, both in writing and orally, is a pivotal part of the role used when investigating an incident and providing feedback on reports. These will be outlined in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) or other regulatory documents and could take place within the UK or ; The Emergency Response Co-Ordinator will support both and Jet2holidays in matters relating to emergency response, providing appropriate support on ERP matters across the business.This will include working closely with different teams from around the business with specific roles within the Emergency Response Team You will assist with the co-ordination and delivery of internal Emergency exercises, as well as deliver ERP training to various internal teams both in the UK and overseas.You will also assist with the maintenance of the company’s ERP documentation, as well as being responsible for ensuring our ERP facilities and equipment are always ‘mission ready’.The role will also deputise for the ERP Manager when required which may include attending both internal and external meetings to represent the Emergency Response Team.About you:You will have previous knowledge and experience of working in a busy operational and administrative environment. Experience of working in an Emergency Response or Crisis Management Role, or previous practical experience in responding to a crisis or significant Emergency would also be desirable. You will have strong IT skills including a good level of competency with MS Office and be highly organised with the ability to demonstrate strong administrative skills.
