    Our client, a national FM company with a proud history and reputation within the industry is looking for an experienced finance assistnat to join a forward-thinking, ambitious team and contribute to the running of numerous maintenance contracts in the North West area.The successful candidate wil be performing tasks such as timely invoicing to our customers, tracking and monitoring financial data at month-end and supporting with the administration of payroll, the post holder will be a key member of the contract team.Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:Raising Purchase Orders to suppliers when required and in line with Budget.Supporting with the submission of contract timesheets to payroll and subsequent resolution of payroll queries.Support with the maintenance of contract cash trackers including reconciliation of the contract cash position and identification of correct VAT. Supporting the contract teams with the management of outstanding debt and highlighting any debt control issues as they arise.Supporting the contract teams with the management of outstanding debt and highlighting any debt control issues as they arise.Assist the contract teams and Management Accountant with budget and forecast preparation. Any other reasonable request. Advanced Excel (eg. Formulas, Macros, Power BI).Previous experience of working within a PFI environment.Previous experience of working within an FM company. You'll champion Health & Safety and bring a proactive approach that ensures work practices and processes that deliver on quality and sustainability objectives. What you'll doCarry out procedures associated with the operation of the facility, specifically security and access, maintenance and repair and health and safety.Report any faults to the help desk in accordance with agreed procedures.Carry out minor or temporary repairs and maintenance tasks.Undertake the clearance of snow from all accessible areas, and grit as necessary. To litter pick in accordance with agreed procedures.Take delivery and arrange for the storage of materials, stores and other goods relating to the services provided by RFM.
