      Job Title: Referral, Recruitment & Training Administrator for Surrey Independent Living CouncilLocation: SILC Offices, Astolat, Coniers Way, Guildford, GU4 7HLSalary: £25,500 (full time equivalent of 35 hours per week)Job type: Permanent, Full-Time / Part-TimeAbout us:Surrey Independent Living Council (SILC) is a charity that supports disabled people, older people, parents of disabled children, carers and people with long term health conditions across Surrey.We have been operating since 1997 and provide a range of services all aimed at enabling people to live independently and to have their voices heard.We are committed to the Social Model of Disability and are led by people with a lived experience of disability and/or long-term health conditions.About the role:If you would like the chance to make a real difference for people in Surrey who need support to live independently and to have their voices heard, then we would love to hear from you.We have two new vacant post one 35 hours a week and one 21 Hours a week35 per week Salary: £25,50021 per week Salary £15,300(plus 5% Employer pension contribution)Key Duties: Referrals managementProcess incoming referrals of all types.Create new customer records on the CRM where DP clients have referred themselves directly.RecruitmentSupport the placement of PA job adverts on Job Centre website and any other channels requiredSupport the administration of Support Finder (only admin level SF work)Send out application packs requestedSupport the administration of the Disclosure and Barring Service checks process.Undertake references checks.TrainingImplementing the SILC training offering.Liaising with employers And PA's regarding their training needsSourcing and liaising with the third-party trainers.Supporting the provision of employment trainingPromotionPromotion of Personal Assistant recruitment and employmentPromotion of the SF website.Data managementComplete data quality checks.Produce quarterly reporting stats for SILC website ILA and Advocacy services.Collect service feedback from clients.Support the system for recording and sharing feedback with relevant staff.Support the SILC Archiving systemReception duties2nd in line on reception. Deal with simple enquiries and answer FAQs (across the different communication channels) about all SILC's services.Provide cover for other Admin roles as required.Serve as a SILC Fire Marshall and SILC First Aider.Key Requirements:Experience Essential:Use of IT systems and databases.Customer service provisionExperience Desirable:RecruitmentSkills Essential:Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate well in a rangeof formats and with a variety of audiences.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships withcolleagues and partners.Good reading and writing skillsAbility to work independently and prioritise effectivelyAbility to handle a varied workloadExcellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft packages and in databases.Skills Desirable:Good time management skillsGood problem-solving skillsOther Essential:Able to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the 'Social Model of Disability'.Able to work flexibly and on own initiative.SILC are an equal opportunities employer.
