      Our client GKN Aerospace is looking for MRO Mechanics (Inspector) to work in their facility in Helmond for the first period of time until September 2022, and then relocate to the facility in Papendrecht to continue the work there.This is a long term position and it is very likely that a fixed contract is offered after the first year. GKN Fokker (part of GKN Aerospace) is active in the field of landing gear and related systems. This includes the design and development, production and assembly of complete landing gear systems, but also the repair and reassembly of systems in use. With regard to Landing Gear, GKN Fokker is active for the F16 Fighter Aircraft, the Apache Combat helicopter, the F35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, the multi-purpose NH90 helicopter and the MQ-9 Reaper.As MRO Mechanic (Inspector) you are part of the MRO Organisation. Je wordt een technisch specialist op het gebied van electro-mechanische systemen t.b.v. opwekking van stroom aan boord van de vliegtuigen. In deze werkplaats doen we onderhoud aan componenten maar voornamelijk componenten van andere vliegtuigplatforms (bijv. A320/B737/B777). In deze functie krijg je de kans om de vaardigheden op te doen om de generatoren te testen (Tester) en door te groeien naar de functie van 'Certifying Staff'.
