    Role: Senior BIM TechnicianLocation: StaffordSalary: £40,000 - £42,000 + Car Allowance - This is a progressive role towards becoming a BIM Manager. - Water and Wastewater process knowledge required We are working with a Tier 1 contractor who requires a Senior BIM Technician to join their busy Design team within the Water Industry. As their Senior BIM Technician you will be required to develop, lead and manage the production of MEICA design incorporating any outsourced design by consultancies and sub-contractors throughout the design phase of any of our Water projects. Duties: Designers (Consultants and Sub-contractors) will take responsibility for their own coordination. However, they must be managed and led by the Senior BIM Technician. Development of asset data, checking and compliance with Client's EIR to ensure design compliance working with site teams using alternative approaches relating to time (4D) and commercial (5D). Eg. plant schedules, specialist equipment etc.Participate in creating a safe working environment on assigned projects.Act as the key internal contact for the Business Unit's BIM technical requirements.Respond to Client's technical requirements, develop the outline BEP into a Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and lead project BIM workshops. BIM design and coordination duties will include a clash detection/policing role using Revit, BIM360, ReCap Pro, Dalux or other tools.YOUKnowledge and understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes required. Detailed understanding of ISO19650, associated standards and BIM documentation. Detailed knowledge and understanding of Viewpoint CDE.
