      Job Title: Engineering Team LeaderContract Length: 4 Months - Temp to PermPay Rate: Competitive £48k Per AnnumLocation: ColefordShift Pattern: Continental - 2 days 0600 - 1800, 2 nights 1800 - 0600, 4 days off Overview and Job purpose To create a robust engineering team through effective management that will:-Ensure a safe environment through proactive management.Provide reliable equipment and processes which will maintain product quality. Ensure the team is focused on driving and improving production OEE.Build a proactive team spirit which will ensure the most effective use of engineering resources.Build effective relationships with engineering key stakeholders and proactive integrate engineering activities within the manufacturing processes. Ensure the provision and recording of accurate and timely factual data for engineering andoperational leadership teams.Key Responsibilities Ensure any EHS or product quality related issues are dealt with immediately, reporting to manufacturing shift management any issues that might compromise Product Safety or Product Quality.Ensure accident investigation, near miss, deviations and CAPA responsible actions are completed on time.Lead, motivate and coordinate the engineering team with direct management of absence, time & attendance, ensuring that the teams are resourced accordingly.Application and management of the people performance management processes for the engineering team using the PDP process.Ensure the engineering team has the appropriate level of skills to undertake engineering activities and that individual development plans are in place, with 100% adherence tomandatory training.Provide engineering team leadership, whilst building robust relationships with manufacturing teams by sharing activities and improvements with effective communication.Ensure all engineering tasks are recorded in an accurate and timely manner with the utilisation of the site's CMM's system.Enable and secure a robust shift handover process.Ensure the accurate engineering activity data and performance KPI's are available, and are communicated effectively.Attend the morning line side OEE meetings and own immediate actions, coordinating the engineering team to act accordingly.Use root cause analysis to improve asset reliability and reduce line breakdowns.Qualifications and Professional Experience Indentured ApprenticeshipONC/HNC/NVQ within Engineering DisciplineNumerate and literate to at least GCSE levelAbility to work with minimal supervision to ensure provision of team engineering activitiesApplication of TPM principles.Ensuring excellent customer service for key stakeholdersRandstad Business Support is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
