        We are currently recruiting for a Lead Commissioning Engineer within an oil and gas industry.The role is initially a 3- 6 month contract with potential for extension. This contract position will require a coordinating expert in a commissioning engineer environment to travel around the UK between Portsmouth and Birmingham to multiple customer sites.The successful applicant for this position will join the engineering team and will take responsibility for coordinating a team of commissioning engineers.Responsibilities:To coordinate with other engineers and mechanical engineers for commissioning distribution systemsTo coordinate with the operations team for pumping ststions to be commissioned on siteMake sure risk assessments are carried out at each siteIs able to read method statements and carry them outSet deadlines for when the work needs to be finished and double check things are in order before moving siteShut down systems safely and bring them back up when needed.Plan what needs to be done when they move to the next site, in preparation Experience:Preferably a mechanical / electrical background in control systemsRoughly 12 hour days Mon-Thurs.
