As the Design Technician / CAD Designer / Revit and AutoCAD Engineer you will support an existing design team with drawn and written MEP detailing. Training will be provided to familiarise you with the industry. Independent research and problem solving are anticipated as new solutions are always sought in a desire to remain at the forefront of the industry. Your role will involve liaising with manufacturing partners in Germany, Italy, Austria and Lithuania and their main client base in the USA. As such, an ability or willingness to learn to communicate and work in both metric and imperial dimensions is essential and anyone with experience of US building codes will be of particular interest. Design Technicians will be considered on their abilities regardless of age, gender or ethnicity but an ability to communicate at a high level of competency in the English language is essential, although other languages are an asset. The right to live permanently and work in the UK is essential. The company does not have a fixed salary scale and will pay an appropriate and fair salary based on experience and abilities, the figures in this ad are merely a guide and should not hold back applicants with expectations outside the range. Applications with a small portfolio of work will be easier to assess. The company anticipate candidates will already be established within the UK and shortlisted candidates should be able to travel to their Enfield studio for interview, although initial interviews will be via Teams.
