Their expertise in the end applications enables them to provide tailored services to suit the customer's needs, whether applying coatings, end preparation, customer-specific packaging, bundling, JIT delivery, or bespoke dimensions, tolerances, and testing. At Corby they predominately supply the construction, conveyance and pressure, and more recently, lifting and excavation tube markets.The Occupational Health Nurse department works autonomously within current legislation and guidelines, providing specialist Occupational Health support to the business, to promote a healthy workforce. The RoleAs the Occupational Health Nurse on site, you will be required to provide a comprehensive and pro-active Occupational Health Service to employees and Contractors based at the Corby site, providing expert advice and support to the Business on all aspects of Occupational Health and Occupational Health Legislation.In this capacity your principal accountabilities will include but not be limited to the following:Organise and deliver a comprehensive health surveillance service to the business as determined by Statutory Requirements, Company Policy and Business Need - including conducting Pre-Placement and Safety Critical Medicals, Due Cause Testing and routine health surveillance / screening.Provide expert advice and practical support to Line Management and HR in the management of sickness absence cases within the business, assessing individuals for fitness to work and establishing practical and value-adding rehabilitation programmes to ensure that cases are progressed appropriately.
